The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads" q% G8 C; D- |: X
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
( ^" J! e/ t) q1 K9 `5 E$ C; y• Input and manage high volume of data% E. }5 L& N2 h K' Q4 C, _
• Update and maintain databases
1 {" ?7 O. n7 y8 _, C+ a• Generate monthly reports and statistics# b% u3 l0 J9 D
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation: {, a4 Q6 P! ]' v2 k4 L: I
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits
1 S/ R$ t' R" M# N k; h2 `* e* G6 @• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
8 k. Z& J5 |: g+ }/ u• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
1 V7 h4 O: b y1 ^+ G1 C( |• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS , _* Z( u; I, |, ?7 X/ \9 Y. C' h
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills8 y3 ]7 Y1 E& X6 B8 w. w
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work- v% n& |. j) d% y4 I9 o% y' }
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
