The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre. ) X5 n$ W+ n5 F/ g: ~. V* H
* t, Y0 z. b4 P T1 c5 m$ XThis is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required
3 E1 a$ W8 K( w7 ^, I0 t0 i6 V9 v• Answer multi line telephone system- A- P* t f5 Q9 q
4 m; I }% s, l; l0 q9 L @Administration:
* O0 \ m# k, Q5 }• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads: R" F1 [% q4 ^- ^& n$ ^8 o4 s" Y
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
( K) v0 [/ v0 j2 w C0 Q• Input and manage high volume of data
' p6 ~5 x# o, H• Update and maintain databases3 I6 i" d) r) }' a/ _3 h& ?
• Generate monthly reports and statistics2 o6 `! w. L% Q y1 v
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation2 Y! d2 Y, Q5 D% x/ c/ D) q
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits# ^5 V6 j9 M4 S0 ~7 C
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms
$ G, T. @0 _2 o• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors( {; S6 a4 \! D* w
• Thorough knowledge of services and programs offered by the Counselling Centre% [! Q8 N7 w7 @- O1 g
• Ability to handle inquiries about programs and services to other community agencies and to clients

Qualifications:3 J. U% t; F+ H( {2 g- d: g
1 h: _& Z0 ~. K+ W: ]) _• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure
# H, N! O, j& [- b; p( S7 K3 w• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS
7 p" z# A- f+ m! t9 M9 W7 q4 U" Q• Excellent verbal and written communication skills& @$ o2 E1 }) V5 t3 [
• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work+ Z# u _! F, }# p, V4 |% \+ ~
• Able to interact positively with a diverse population
