The YWCA has an opportunity for a Services Coordinator in the Counselling Centre. The YWCA Counselling Centre offers professional and accessible counselling services for families, couples and individuals. The Service Coordinator is a dynamic position being the first point of contact for clients of the Counselling Centre.

This is a full-time position (37.5 hours/week) with working hours from 8:30AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday. The Service Coordinator reports to the Manager of the Counselling Centre and supports a diverse team.

Reception:
1 {% R5 f8 s7 t- b! f" m• Greet and provide assistance to clients of the Counselling Centre and visitors to the YWCA as required$ a4 L+ V3 e: _7 O
• Answer multi line telephone system% m3 a6 i5 B# ?5 U

• Schedule client appointments and counsellor workloads( Y/ A0 c& x' F# _) X6 l5 K
• File and organize paperwork and files related to client visits
8 U3 Q* ~, V5 K$ u* F• Input and manage high volume of data+ J# X1 A; F# C2 `/ L6 m
• Update and maintain databases
/ L6 n" {1 G; ~4 q& c1 J• Generate monthly reports and statistics; X+ I9 e- \. s
• Organize and directly support group materials and documentation* J B+ h3 F7 d0 x6 O, V. K1 q
• Process payments and complete weekly deposits, V' [9 y+ D5 a' b! i
• Write and revise business correspondence and forms/ @2 w$ W" X" i$ ]4 z7 @1 b
• Provide clerical support (such as word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, mail outs and filing) for the Manager of the Counselling Centre and Counsellors

& o& i* A% w o0 J( [( v9 m! i" f• Minimum two years experience in areas related to office reception and office procedure5 o& D3 F, c% [' f3 {- f6 W
• Proven experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including ACCESS ) i+ l$ c4 j- O5 f; x
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
" m' }4 m! s, Z+ j5 J/ T• Detail orientated and ensure accuracy in work
5 }7 l, z( H( U- I2 ~• Able to interact positively with a diverse population8 f3 r& B; K# t6 j
• Strong customer service skills

• Knowledge of HOMES database an asset
