• Process research equipment design;
2 {& ?) q6 @" k9 L" ?& T• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;6 A! N% s! M' M! `: ?. h
• Equipment fabrication guidance;9 [; s7 L4 M% b/ O/ _
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;

Qualifications:3 b" q4 c* B# f- q
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
* s$ p# C" _9 ]• Equipment design experience is required;
( y& S w; q9 w" O4 n5 w• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;: d0 [( s: F( T0 Q7 o
• Familiar with CAD software;' L" M0 f3 g! q3 V
• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;9 ?" J( q& u( L: s. y+ h
• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

% E, S8 ^( a$ ?7 [: b5 t2 t4 nCompensation:
; Y5 O* J& a. Y" kSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. s0 Z h8 F# v1 U
