Major Responsibilities:0 n) ^! S6 @" g+ s
• Process research equipment design;
+ h2 u! ~9 u4 F6 B, e- U( A6 b• Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;" B. R" r- w7 [6 ~% Y" S
• Equipment fabrication guidance;1 [* m* t9 o8 n' ^
• Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;1 l9 v4 v/ |" X1 e! L6 K( F
• Others.+ ]- ]: l' ~" e3 L

Qualifications:) d& c% v. q2 f1 o4 A
• Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
g! U/ v6 i. j! D7 Y! D• Equipment design experience is required;
( e4 P* y; k) K: A• Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;) O# q" \1 M5 d/ ]7 K! Y
• Familiar with CAD software;
9 `: v3 y5 N+ x8 p9 S6 W+ W8 L• Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
* h9 z/ e: K4 @• Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.1 H, W& T% n, _. r

Compensation:
# V, ^4 I. {1 W2 VSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term. ; `% {, k% F; U) }, ^
