+ T1 ~0 {: O! s" E8 PAn engineering start-up, which is committed to support the R&D and industrialization of process technologies in North America with expertise and international resources, now accepts applicant for the position of Mechanical Engineer /Specialist through Industry r&D Associates program, Alberta Ingenuity.

5 i/ |; F- \2 B" v•        Process research equipment design;
•        Pilot plant design with other professional engineers;
•        Equipment fabrication guidance;
, X; c! R+ ?/ i5 T& N- ]$ W•        Mechanical Codes/Standard elucidation;
; }% G6 Z( F: _+ @•        Others.

Qualifications:
•        Mechanical Engineering Graduate of a Master’s or PhD program within five years of application date OR graduate student expecting to complete Master’s or PhD degree requirements within three months.
•        Equipment design experience is required;
) r  g% @- \) e* i: `•        Familiar with mechanical Codes/Standards; knowledge of electrical Codes/Standards is helpful;
! |! [9 @3 v9 Y8 m' M•        Familiar with CAD software;
•        Fluent in English, and knowledge of Mandarin is useful;
! [7 N& R- U" P" t/ m8 j: t3 u•        Fabrication, engineering and postdoctoral experience are assets.

Compensation:
5 ]- l: j, `( q2 m; ^) zSuccessful applicant of Alberta Ingenuity Industry r&D Associates will be awarded a $55,000 stipend per annum and a yearly allowance of $7,000. The total award value over two years is $124,000 from Alberta Ingenuity with opportunity for permanent position and stock option from the company after two years’ term.
