Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
4 n# ^! d+ J( \. ~Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
4 [% s) c* A  y9 J6 d: P2 Pthe organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
Ÿ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
- t3 i9 a3 n& P: S4 _6 u/ L0 jŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
implementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
- J/ D! Z+ E! C) Y- QŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
* n- [* ~2 t+ s- zŸ Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Ÿ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
education and experience;
' w& f6 V. M0 [* u+ x# ^+ w7 Q4 Q7 a3 SŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
7 y' e# {+ E! c' _# @" KŸ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
$ }* B$ S0 D- M: Q+ Z& i& [Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
( A( o6 S, `+ A! F6 \verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the

driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
