Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
Manager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into

) d% m! f% o* U9 JŸ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
6 }+ [8 u9 A; v3 a* S) |% LŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
support;
Ÿ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
$ R% O( H$ E  @8 o$ W& a+ zimplementing staff wellness programs;
: p$ c8 c% z* q* VŸ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
Ÿ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
1 T0 X0 A" Z/ ~1 g2 UŸ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.

7 l5 q; I4 t/ H( w' d% EŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
* b# x, S* t5 |9 heducation and experience;
0 G3 k# t2 V+ Y0 N' d- V( j1 t) XŸ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
0 q7 M1 o: u  [6 [Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
5 Z+ T- Y4 ^+ f8 [; LŸ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
7 `+ I# {/ x, _0 t! Q) W4 b  Jverbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
! C" [5 L& E! L0 Z' b) X$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
; E) p2 K6 ?1 {! s( QIn accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
