Lac La Biche County is hiring for the full-time position of Manager, Human Resources. The
# r8 j% {& c1 y  q# h7 sManager of Human Resources is responsible for providing assistance to all staff and manage-
ment as it pertains to payroll, benefits, recruitment process, morale, and conflict resolution.
The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Ÿ  Assist Directors and management staff in the recruitment and selection of personnel into
the organization;
Ÿ Primarily responsible for all payroll administration;
$ y! f# D0 F- k0 ~( zŸ Assist management staff in the interview process by providing guidance and technical
- X  ?( s" S( L3 N  g0 Q% Z; Usupport;
  K: L, X* F( s( t! D; }7 pŸ Promoting the County to employees using programs designed to increase morale, and
; q4 k$ U0 p+ R7 X# c6 Bimplementing staff wellness programs;
Ÿ Responsible to oversee equitable and fair termination processes of County employees;
# Q* _9 J, u* d9 @5 c  I9 g9 TŸ Administer, process, and maintain company Group Benefits/Pension plans for personnel;
Ÿ Prepare budget for personnel operations and follow through with County Sustainability Plan;
Ÿ Other duties as required.
& p* n- y  `% t& sQualifications:
3 w3 K! q! k# ?6 y! H/ ^2 J. T+ qŸ Post secondary education in human resource management, or a combination of equivalent
5 ]' Z# q7 p: C5 g/ jeducation and experience;
Ÿ A minimum 3 to 5 years experience in human resource management;
Ÿ Must be very personable and approachable to staff;
Ÿ Must possess excellent conflict resolution skills and effective communication skills, both
verbal and written.
Lac La Biche County offers a comprehensive health and dental benefits package.  Salary Range
- z, Y$ O* |% b1 H: ]% \$71,690.77 - $88,789.06.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  
In accordance with Lac La Biche County's Human Resources Management Policy, the
successful candidate will be required to provide a criminal records check with vulnerable sector,
driver's abstract, and medical assessment.  Candidates will be advised of this requirement at the
time of interview.
