This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Duties
6 U$ ]# |$ [. y3 G8 b# u% s( D7 _  ZSupports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
, v# s4 F7 L: x4 E4 aModifies forms and reports according to client specifications
$ i  h8 O9 @- K- l- y4 GCreates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
4 I! c' ^1 i4 H+ Q1 c9 r6 P' g& @Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment

7 P( Z% g% ]! o9 r$ pB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
Several years related experience in a similar environment
: W  n' B5 v7 {4 S7 NKnowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building skills, strong commitment to client service, and a professional and positive approach
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a highly dynamic, energetic and demanding team
