Duties
, b% V* Y7 p) JSupports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors9 _8 v; C* N0 \: [9 _) }
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
. ]) m- Y' @7 U3 u' `# ACreates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts1 {$ T3 [5 o$ ~) C/ m
Assists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment+ V0 _8 {+ A7 f* K
Qualifications
( h4 k4 X [. j* {5 l: PB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered: E+ }9 u8 l4 U* @; c9 r" `
Several years related experience in a similar environment' U( Y9 f R3 @1 l+ e
Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i; x# j1 J1 Q7 e d
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset" l& z, J0 b& T& \) e) }2 u
Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational and time management skills, accuracy and attention to detail
