This is a nine month appointment, with the possibility of extension.

Duties
Supports a team that is responsible for developing and maintaining desktop and on-line applications using Oracle databases, Oracle tools (Forms and Reports 6i), and Java in various flavors
Modifies forms and reports according to client specifications
Creates and modifies web-based front ends using Java, JSP and Struts
- {# @/ R" Z$ j$ j+ ~, {% d! qAssists in the conversion of applications from older Oracle tools to an Oracle Application Server environment
Qualifications
$ t- K& W! G  FB.Sc. in Computing Science; equivalent experience considered
3 M. E. E2 x7 t; v) }2 B  sSeveral years related experience in a similar environment
Knowledge and experience in Java, JSP, Struts, Eclipse, Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Forms/Reports 6i
Knowledge and exposure to Oracle Application Server Enterprise Edition 10g and Oracle Forms and Reports 10g would be a definite asset
