Our Sustainable Ecosystems Business Unit located in Vegreville works with private and public sector clients to identify problems, and provide land and water management solutions.9 S9 D$ f3 W- M; C" o. a
, F' n* @5 i! t$ Q+ h; hWe require five field/laboratory technologists to collect field data, sort and identify field specimens including vascular plants, lichen, and aquatic invertebrates. The successful candidates will log samples; and enter and analyze data, and assist with generating client reports. Final candidates will be asked to undergo a security screening.

Candidates should have a diploma or B. Sc. in Biology or a related field and some experience with plant and invertebrate identification. Computer experience is essential. You must have strong communication skills, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.4 O Y8 I2 `; Q6 `: \; l, W/ X3 A

These are temporary four-month positions. . Salaries will be commensurate with education and experience, and are included in the bargaining unit. - W& r. V! |4 n7 b- f
