Position: Program Director, Community Preschool Education / Terms: Full time, annual contract with salary commensurate to education and experience / Closing Date: July 22, 2010.

2 L  k+ }' S+ p# F6 y% ?The ideal candidate: we need a dynamic team player to manage our CPE program, an inclusive multi-disciplinary educational program for preschool children who have disabilities. Preschool children learn with age appropriate peers in community settings such as child care centres, community kindergarten programs and preschool programs. Each child's parents, teacher, and program personnel work together to create an individual program plan.

  s5 U6 O1 t+ mKey Qualifications: Post secondary education in Early Education or Special Education or in a related, applicable field; require commitment to best practice in inclusive early childhood program model; professional experience in early childhood education plus minimum 3 years experience in administration; non-profit experience & familiarity with Alberta Education funding & policy is an asset; excellent written/oral communication skills required / Key Responsibilities: program management, staff orientation, training/evaluation, record keeping, budget management & public relations.
