SALES CLERKS

: \: I  q- z2 O. ?# d3 iEvery full or part time sales clerk is responsible for the proper and efficient
operation of his or her shift, within company policy in such a manner as to ensure
that the shift contributes to the increased profitability of the store while serving
  ~. n8 b, b8 H" g) J' Z# Vcustomers with exceptional customer service. All sales clerks report directly to
% f4 q5 d7 D1 S) r2 n5 |" ?the Store Manager.
Duties and Responsibilities
/ G4 m' q; i3 o$ ~9 v9 SCustomer Service
/ @; B" Y2 n# W  _3 P• Provide all customers with prompt and courteous service
• Assist customers find what they are looking for
• Receive and fill orders for clubs, restaurants, and hotels as required
• Make every effort to find merchandise for customers if an item is not in
stock
• Screen for intoxication and check identification for any customer who
looks under 25 years of age
Store Responsibilities
+ U& }$ i; F- j% X1 V" s) A• Operate point of sale terminal to make sales and look up products
• Stock shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards
  q3 ~  }( ^) G7 E, r. X$ [• Assist in receiving and storing merchandise
• Keep the store, stockroom and restrooms clean
2 [$ e( q2 a6 g# b; W• Help monitor inventory levels – item counts at tills and hourly counts
• Protect company assets at all times
+ X5 Z( X7 t" ~' k5 P• Close the store (key holders)
• Other tasks as assigned by Store or Assistant Manager
Qualifications
• High School graduate
  K! X7 X; K' s. C  h• Criminal record check.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to adapt quickly and react positively to business needs and
& Y, L" l' i( i7 J: E) Kchanges in strategies

• Demanding workload

: O0 z: ]# Z$ Q/ k1 Q• Available for shift work Sunday – Saturdays, days and evenings
• Able to safely lift boxes up to 50 pounds
• Standing for extended periods of time
• Comfortable climbing ladders
