Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

" F* L7 R; s. H3 [KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
# n: `7 v; I8 s9 b( b2 E        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
4 v" e2 `% d: k1 K$ p, [5 D        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

8 I3 [, n: @  X: XQUALIFICATIONS:
•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
& `3 z& L% H0 x9 |0 b) @•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
. G3 ~' l6 {3 u2 ^+ N•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
( {2 T% h1 d4 m/ n5 S4 j. s1 I•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
