O0 L6 a& @& s9 i$ pReporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.7 F% U+ W+ l! |3 y' _) l5 B

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- ?( ^1 S( d+ G9 _- V- u# z3 C Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
7 T9 `; F% G( s, v Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
" }* W2 G# x8 u Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs/ {. f! _: S" T; M( ^0 e' u
 Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients% |, q: K" c; w/ K' v
) j7 ?- u( }) Z* |; a5 LQUALIFICATIONS: 4 H1 f" T/ N0 Q3 v2 c
• Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman, V( ~. }3 m) G( P# C
• Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for residential or commercial buildings* x" o, b- n" ?; h3 X: X1 p9 T
• Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman, h" [8 F" j2 Q' O
• Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
. g# t4 S: V3 D; `• Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process {- Z1 _& C; a7 n% S% ~
• Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
& B3 ?, p3 y$ A+ M• Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
; n) E" X$ @) g: O• Ability to communicate with all levels of management
