Reporting to the Mechanical Engineer, the successful candidate is responsible for providing Mechanical (HVAC) Design guidance and support to the Design Team.

+ K9 L6 }6 ~$ F- z! ^KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 J0 E. N" A( ?2 S4 p        Working with a team of draftspersons, designers and engineers, prepare drawings, specifications, and bill of materials for projects
* M8 z# [- M& P        Review, develop and improve processes and procedures
! N) b* ?3 s4 W) x: N# D$ _        Research and develop efforts to improve product designs and costs
        Make sure all information is included on drawings, specifications and drawings requested by the manufacturing group and clients

5 Z) e* |! `7 C- pQUALIFICATIONS:
, C0 N5 O# P: B; {•        Graduate of a technical institute or mechanical trade journeyman
•        Minimum 2 years experience in design/drafting of HVAC systems for    residential or commercial buildings
•        Minimum 5 years experience working as a HVAC journeyman
2 e: p; [) v3 ~- n•        Experience in HVAC systems commissioning and air balancing is an asset
•        Understanding of the Bill of Material generation process
2 O5 y! z- {! v$ E8 L2 [* z; ^; ?•        Understanding of drafting and design specifications for projects
; c5 G4 ?: j. m& }5 k5 y•        Competence with utilizing AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
•        Ability to communicate with all levels of management
•        Ability to work independently as well as in a team
