An elderly couple had two daughters.                
一对老两口有两个女儿，
The older daughter was married to a man who sold umbrellas, while the younger one was married to a man who sold straw hats.                
" k% J6 w  @6 h: z% _( q大女儿嫁给了一个卖雨伞的，二女儿嫁给了一个卖草帽的。
Therefore, whenever it was a fine day,                
所以，每当遇到晴天的时候，
the mother would sigh: “Oh, it’s a bad day for my elder son-in-law.”
4 v( s4 s2 u5 @: ^( C做母亲的就会叹气：“哎！大女婿的雨伞卖不出去了。”
; `2 Y  n6 v6 R! L. g: nBut if it was a rainy day, she would sigh as well: “Nobody’s going to buy my younger son-in-law’s straw hats.”
; U5 _$ u2 q. s5 [1 z遇到雨天，她还是会叹气：“二女婿的草帽没人买了！” ，
So she was never happy, rain or shine.
* e7 V! z, J$ s; C. e$ {, }所以，晴天雨天老太太都不高兴。
: t7 B& U) U! I9 N1 X8 gBut her husband saw the matter in a different light.He was happy, rain or shine.         
- V  u0 n; F* Z0 i6 {7 v5 z可是老先生却恰恰相反，不论晴天雨天，老先生都很高兴。
On sunny days, he would think that his younger son-in-law would sell lots of straw hats,
; h/ `! G  T5 i2 u晴天时他想到二女婿的草帽会卖得好，
and on rainy days he would think of his elder son-in-law doing well selling his umbrellas.
雨天时他想到大女婿的雨伞会卖得好，
In reality, happiness is a kind of attitude.

/ s: P3 s! z* d# TIt is never far from you, depending on whether you are contented or not.
它离你不远，关键是看你知不知足
