The IT Small Systems Specialist will be responsible for providing day to day technical support for SYSCO Edmonton. Responsibilities will include equipment management and support, basic network support and troubleshooting.

§ Provide high level of customer service to internal customers

§ Hardware and software installation, configuration and implementation+ N' L3 o( X; W- s% B
§ Ensure software and hardware standards and other policies are adhered to at all times4 W5 Y; H \9 X, b) m) w
§ Liaise with Corporate IT Helpdesk% y- m; X' h* V a) z, p I' O
§ Become familiar with in-house software applications (AS/400, EXE/warehouse management system, SOS, VRFS, Impromptu, Lotus Notes & others) with goal of becoming in-house expert

Qualifications:
: V3 P0 V6 I: ?! G" l§ University or College degree in Computer Science and at least 2 years of related work experience) a* y* L" k5 [
§ Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with others and work under minimal supervision4 y5 i; v' _ e; X; p* \6 U& q5 d% g/ w
§ Fundamental commitment to customer service

§ Proven knowledge of Dell, IBM, Xerox and Lexmark hardware

The IT Manager will provide hands on management of all aspects of the local IT operations for SYSCO Edmonton - managing the information systems on a cost effective basis while ensuring user demands are met. This person will work closely with the SYSCO Canada Corporate IT group (located in Calgary and Toronto). 6 B0 E7 Q8 I6 s

§ Manage and coach staff in IT group

§ Work with auditors (internal and external) – respond to requests, prepare response to audit reports
, T- E% ^/ z5 C; ^# H, B7 T1 h§ Hardware and software configuration and implementation, N# }( y! ]- k' O- W* r. v$ x& B
§ Manage and track all technology assets including ensuring that all software licenses are documented and adhered to

§ Perform network administration at the domain level; managing user accounts and network access; p6 L9 C& o. o6 W9 I# b8 H
§ Develop and maintain backup and restoration procedures+ q4 M/ y# c% T( A9 L
§ Develop and track IT budget as well as IT capital spending plan
