Turn around mean shutdown.
1 k4 F* q! F# K3 D3 CIt could be the whole plant or part of the plant shutdown, depend on the schedule.

I think you are talking about Suncor main plant, here in Suncor Firebag we have 2 weeks of turnaround in September.

You'd better check it out before you take this job.

9 S9 x% d9 d) E: Y1 p& F4 f2 i7 yI printed the words above at a paper. I presented it at today’s morning safety meeting and asked the meaning of “TRUNAROUND”.. There were nobody really knew the meaning of “TURNAROUND”.
7 `8 {4 `1 Z9 C! eOne local 424 member said” TURNAROUND means ten days on 4 days off.”
# [9 v! F7 N7 B7 ^4 T- [Another said:” maybe means shutdown.”
My foreman said: “ I am not sure. Maybe it is a couple of days. It is better to call the dispatch office to know.”
