Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:# e4 n. w5 e# E6 T4 _0 g8 P; o
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.
+ q% C6 D! K% M6 y e! WIt is a cycle.

We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
& P3 t* I3 @3 ^- R0 hSwap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.

! d3 c% e" ~' s5 `/ v) bWhen the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.$ I" F+ E7 D, }6 F, p$ ~9 R
Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.6 B# k( L$ [0 K
Confirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same.

They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.$ O: c) _0 T0 ~# _/ B0 C
It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working. ! t4 {1 R0 j+ ?/ W0 S( X4 a z5 X

The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them.
