& B, x s' r8 G ? v: [. F!
1#cocoa 5 G) l" t8 Y# N+ U3 G! ZI prefer tiles to hardwood in kitchen/dining. If there is a dent (not uncommon), I am afraid slight grinding won't help. Different areas might have different flooring materials and look nice, actually consistency of floorings needs area rugs to define space as suggested by many interior designers.

; d) @7 U4 j4 Y. w+ `. K

I mean if you use hardwood floor all the way through (consistency), it is suggested to use area rugs; if you use tiles in kitchen, hardwood floor in familyroom, different spaces are defined ( area rugs are saved and still look nice)
