On Sunday, March 7, 2010, from 12:00pm to 4:00pm, the University of Alberta Museums present the annual Science Sunday, an afternoon of discovery for kids aged 5 to 12.3 h5 Y( R2 I$ j2 J2 g9 v3 o
7 h- R' R& A$ d3 _: x" uBring your children, grandchildren, or young friends to explore the natural sciences through a wide range of hands-on activities, including:1 j, Q- |+ E0 T0 u- m

learning about animal noises with John Acorn, the Nature Nut * H& C1 P1 @/ R' x
digging for and examining fossils
: N3 s8 ~5 h% Z: d& i4 K* W0 d* jexploring the impact of meteorites on the surface of the earth
1 I# S7 B, Q: S3 i1 m2 W$ |% X6 ?investigating insects " w7 I- D' @) J& w0 T
and much more!
$ O u: e$ }$ C3 E+ _1 K! E5 b“Junior researchers” can drop in any time during the afternoon with an adult chaperone to participate. Pre-registration is not required. Admission is by donation.3 Q' e) E; x. a, h7 ~8 O

Science Sunday is located in the Earth Sciences Building on the U of A Campus, just off of Saskatchewan Drive. Pay parking is available in Lot N on 111th Street.
