几年前看电影you 've got a mail 学了个词ironic: S# g1 O2 r7 E) Y( ?& `0 T: N
% }% ^8 p5 I, D. ?! W- o0 E
这个词sarcastic 和ironic 用法上有什么区别。( s) |* s+ U, `. \ V+ C7 ?) i

c d' P- t4 Qironic:
8 H1 t$ b0 w* }+ s6 s W; o8 P我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?
- V) M5 V. W! v$ X) Vthere, I was being ironic+ e( H5 i0 @* J7 G+ b# h
ironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world.
# D" x1 t# _) q! w7 ]美女: are you being sarcastic?
0 n& [2 j n4 [ n- B如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!
6 I. v% [9 ^( S' w' e) I: [5 h美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
