4 n+ m* y# M3 m$ q$ P+ v7 j, O! }6 w& I- M0 P! M* H' k
ironic:
% ~ a1 v# n6 B6 a5 o我在博客上帖了我们一大早赶飞机的照片,孩子们累得睁不还眼,我下面写的评注是: it's hard to tell that we were tired isn't it?! ~# y# L8 H$ g& _/ _1 N( P4 E2 r6 Q
there, I was being ironic. Q7 w8 ]/ @! _5 T" g
ironic 还可以形容一个situation, 比如:al gore is portrayed as a front line fighter for environmental issues, ironically he owns one of the most gas consuming cars in the world.
]. }6 h, j2 I9 a, G( T- L
美女: are you being sarcastic?- c* ?, U8 N. b5 I" B3 v9 z) x( X; E, X
如花: i swear, i mean it, you are one of the most beautiful girls i‘ve even seen!
4 i/ |! s. Y/ e3 |! X& Q美女: thanks! ironically i was just told by my brother:if you are not pretty,better be polite。 |
