% H! S7 ~7 X6 s% eTerms: Full-time (35 hours per week).
Compensation: Based on experience & qualifications.

8 c' j$ ~9 b  _) a7 l1 F8 vResponsibilities:
-        Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
% {7 T8 z4 L" D  s% q4 b' a% }-        Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
# O/ V7 k7 E: T! m, D-        Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
  B8 s2 |& g1 a7 E$ L  c% O-        Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs
-        Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
-        Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
9 F0 G! }$ k% a. r' x-        At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
# W8 N. s5 v# V# M& h" g& B-        Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others
-        Experience doing program development
-        Strong organizational and coordination skills
-        Self-directed and able to take initiative
-        Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
-        Vehicle and valid drivers’ license

-        Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
* U! p0 N9 z  y5 _. ?-        Knowledge of and experience working with immigrant and refugee communities
! }: y5 @: j$ f- j- G4 P6 d( }-        An understanding of the relationship between addictions and mental health
-        Skills in marketing & promotions
-        Some evening and weekend work may be required
