- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth
% {7 T8 z4 L" D s% q4 b' a% }- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling
# O/ V7 k7 E: T! m, D- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups
B8 s2 |& g1 a7 E$ L c% O- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs, b0 `$ T3 e5 I+ p6 H
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:! U/ b3 Y$ n# T/ l; [ l
- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences
9 F0 G! }$ k% a. r' x- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
# W8 N. s5 v# V# M& h" g& B- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others5 Y7 S- z. K# E" O9 V
- Experience doing program development4 F' L- t6 z. o
- Strong organizational and coordination skills3 r# X+ j+ Y* C# z* v
- Self-directed and able to take initiative5 x1 Q+ `4 {3 h
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset0 N S' A; V6 ^+ M0 G& ]
- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license1 ]; [% k4 D3 v* }- x+ s6 ~ K, Y( `

- Experience conducting community needs assessments and program evaluation
