`5 H# l" k3 z) K9 ? a- Design and deliver educational and preventative workshops about addictions to kids & youth+ q" o% O1 n I b4 c
- Work with a team of actors to develop and deliver of a touring play about problem gambling# q! ]% ~( ?2 F D
- Build and sustain relationships with schools, social service agencies and community groups9 B3 Q+ Q4 V# a2 M6 O0 ^: q
- Identify community needs and best practices in the area of addictions prevention and further develop the program to meet those needs2 n: y( B0 ?! v6 Q# V6 P' Y
- Complete regular reporting to Alberta Health Services – Addictions & Mental Health

Key Qualifications:
/ B0 ?7 F5 m# @1 v5 q! M- Post secondary degree or diploma in social/human sciences) }7 }( ^- N% U4 V$ h9 R
- At least 2 years experience in the fields of addictions & mental health, education, health promotion, public health or youth engagement
9 ` [, w' c& }% b* L! D& o. y- Strong ability to work well with youth, community workers, teachers and others0 o8 V& R2 y, A- E( k. [" X& w4 r
- Experience doing program development+ q# ]" y+ X! R0 d; N7 p
- Strong organizational and coordination skills4 ]& M8 w7 w- x, s! W" I
- Self-directed and able to take initiative' n" A {6 r$ J) O( I0 N
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; fluency in an Asian language is an asset
5 m9 }% e2 c" ^) }$ d- Vehicle and valid drivers’ license5 I$ [4 {6 h( z; O) N$ d/ U* W5 `7 t
