& E. y2 J+ w* h3 v0 m' |EDMONTON - Two men are facing charges after Edmonton police pulled over a truck filled with freshly cut marijuana plants.

Police say they got a tip Thursday night from a citizen who told them he'd been driving behind a cube van that was giving off a strong odour of marijuana.$ p7 ]6 b; s \: @ o& X

Officers who responded to the call said they also smelled the pot plants about half a block before they pulled over the van.% K0 _; Q* t6 Z8 Y9 G

Police say there were up to 1,500 mature marijuana plants tied in bundles inside the van.% N, [. Y" f% {# o1 C6 m
