6 |8 M/ [3 t, \: pDetermine method of shipment and arrange shipping; prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices and other shipping documents manually or by computer 5 P4 B" X: h) J. t k
Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or in computer system, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions 7 ] [8 u7 w9 D* R3 K
Oversee loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other conveyances ; |, U, i$ d0 j1 b/ c
Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents, record shortages and reject damaged goods 2 o, @6 U5 G! w' P B6 T
Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas

May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.
