• Supports company environmental, health, safety, security practices and policies.
• Is compliant with Nexen corporate policies on integrity, ethics and drug / alcohol.

• Reports to the warehouse supervisor who is responsible for the to day operating activities within the warehouse.
• Participates in special projects and continues improvement initiatives.
• Receipts of goods to ensure quality and correctness In vendor shipments.
• Complete all shipping and receiving records for incoming and outgoing consignments of goods including T.D.G.
• Ensures materials are inspected and received into inventory, issues materials on an ad hoc basis to end users.
$ S; ~6 v, I8 c; b4 r8 b$ ^! v• Hands out material and ensure quality and correctness of goods.
• Maintains accurate inventory records to optimize material inventory.
• Manages bar code labeling process and ensures all materials received are issued a bar code label.
• Conducts warehouse and yard activities to ensure that all materials received or issued have documentation and that this documentation properly processed within company SAP system.
4 k# Z+ g1 i% f. I• Reports of shortages, damages and deficiencies in timely manner.
1 s& R% E/ u$ Q8 D• Works together with other warehouse team members , planners, maintenance team, vendors and transportation companies to assure that materials at site meet timelines and schedules.
9 M- j# Z' `6 u/ C* I( k/ [# ]9 S• Runs SAP reservation orders and picks and stages materials for pick-up by end user.
• Provides SAP transactional support to end users as required.
• Arranges for SAP to Plant transfers as identified by the re-order report.
• Reconciles and resolves inventory transaction variances in SAP.
$ g$ P  S$ K$ x0 g- f( M2 U• Forwards Material Master Description variances to Inventory Control coordinator in Calgary for

' k: b% \6 X. J& u7 r. ^• Identifies material standardization opportunities and proposes changes with end user.
8 e- Z, ^2 A" w+ g" A! V( K• Ensures documentation is completed for processing repair and return materials.
; z& T8 `7 q7 x; ?• Manages the issue and return of tools from the Tool Crib.
' i$ ^8 B/ V6 @5 b• Inspects tools returned to Tool Crib, sends tools out for repair or initiates replacement for tools that are not in good working order.
• Is familiar with MSDS standards for handling of hazardous products.
) l* r  ~7 Z% y* w5 W: a4 k9 Q# f• Ensures all issue counter transactions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
) t- \# B$ J: n/ U+ M• Establishes and maintain cooperative, respectful and effective relationships with those contacted in the course of work. (Various Site Team and Groups).
% ^% U' k$ C. l4 D) ^; N1 |) ?• Acts as a first line of contact for expediting delivery of goods.
% D$ q/ D2 b2 Q+ n3 c, F• Ensures that all items are stored safely, accurately and securely.
- b. ~; v( e" N* O7 L* p3 S• Assists warehouse supervisor as required in review of MRP re-order reports for inventory replenishment
• Manages schedules, deadlines and accountabilities as assigned.
; Q% v% J3 [, y* V$ E• Assists in inventory analysis process, in the performance of audits, cycle counting and stock checking of inventory.
• Has ability to rotate within all Warehouse Positions as required. Provide support (training, practices and procedures) to the warehouse team members.
• Aids in the facilitation of process streamlining and implementation of effective material management solutions.
• Performs other Assignments or Project work as required.

( R$ A2 N$ z, _- d! H$ vEducation / Experience
. j: w& x, F; i% U' f( y• Grade 12 / GED.
• Must have working knowledge of SAP Material Management module, MS Word & Excel.
, B/ S7 M  e8 k5 T8 e: @1 S% l/ b• Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written.
• Warehouseman¿s trades certification an asset.
* a3 \! k2 @0 l$ Y3 k$ o• Oil and Gas material experience an asset.
• MSDS, TDG, WHIMS training is required.
• 2-5 years warehousing and materials experience preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
