We are seeking an organized self starter to support plant and field maintenance for assigned production equipment. Work shifts available are a 5-2 or 4-3 rotation (depending on the individual's preference). On-call duties are covered on a rotational basis.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
; N6 v1 [. V  Q/ z# C• Perform routine day to day and emergency maintenance activities on electrical equipment;
0 o/ {% M, J+ x' W- s• Provide troubleshooting and problem solving support on equipment in a timely manner;
, r( l) U9 U# r! Z. i• Work individually or together with other skilled trades on planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance programs;
• Work with engineering and construction groups on the design, construction, and commissioning phases of new projects;
+ V( e( _0 Q( b& M' g. @, x- Z# o• Assist in the planning, execution, and start up phases of area turnaround activities;
. L% t( c, |5 z5 F5 F& R' [! ^• Assist with the development of short and long term maintenance strategies and plans;
* K" g" P7 J4 k' c& ^• Strive to keep current on emerging technologies;
• Ensure all electrical drawings are kept up to date, reflecting changes made in the field;
  U- i* W( l$ N• Ensure strong commitment to safety and environment on all work performed;
" o6 d9 x# R$ U• Ensure industry and corporate standards are followed on all installations;
/ d( |! p4 n# I1 q) Z• Participate in the Process Safety Management programs in the areas of HAZOP, Equipment Integrity, Risk Management, Operating Procedures, Management of Change, and Incident Investigation;

2 H6 O1 e8 H* t* PEducation / Experience
( _. ^; x* y) K8 M• Minimum of 5 years oil and gas electrical maintenance experience;
• Journeyman Electrical Tradesperson certification;
& a  ]4 ]# X( Q• Dedicated team player;
0 f* y8 z# ]" ]8 n• Strong problem solving skills;
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
$ {6 c' b9 M! I9 X' j% b• Good PC knowledge.

我在国内的工厂里做了十几年的电气工程师，在大学读的是电机专业。（哈尔滨电工学院电机专业，79届）。2006年8月份考了个电工证。在多伦多的一家工厂做了一年半的设备维护工作。去年8月至今，在Edmonton西边的一家工厂做电工。
