Point Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.
( ~0 O9 c. o% L8 D; q0 ~- QIt is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.

3 Y; \! v! q+ `% V, |/ DThe National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).
- s* Z; b" h/ l! ^ Y" l% e0 jGreat hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see. F2 x& I/ d5 S# a5 V
The ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
