There is no National Park in Windsor, Ont.
5 d# X2 R( a4 u7 ]7 YPoint Pelee National Park is southeast of Windsor about an hour, near Wheatley, Kingsville and Leamington Ont.4 A. {+ d6 w! r9 m# q2 z
It is the Southernmost land point of Canada , and other than group camping, is a day use park only.: i1 r9 i5 D/ j

The National Butterfly count takes place August 8th, and you can pre-register your family to take part, lots of fun for the kiddies (Too Late).* P" k" W5 L( i5 G
Great hiking, guides, canoe tours and rentals, bike rentals and the butterfly migration is something to see.
5 K, x' v+ x# pThe ferry to Pelee Island only runs from Kingsville this year, not from Leamington in case your interested in going on the winery tours and hikes there.
