Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential' }0 |, p' Q3 C1 C/ G: y
skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
( V3 p& I3 g! X' n: h: Fprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work
" i7 r1 B5 }! _% qexperience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
# v6 D2 @5 h) k/ pwarehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food$ @" Y% m+ y7 n

Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian/ j7 j4 i5 L5 ]* V5 ?4 j" v' D5 x% {5 @
citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:# W# G( E. f1 e: s" w1 V
* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB
4 l7 \3 [* @! l/ D( p9 T" M* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-+ m7 F4 f2 e- P# z2 y
secondary education) ]0 j5 F% ?+ G5 K+ f& V6 h
* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand7 y; Q; ^: a6 U: }
occupation

* Willingness to commit to a program and future job
