Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential- m" i4 c( Y! y; j& _
skills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
2 y3 l& @" m9 d. S# [% z2 bprogram combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work" g( |3 d- W1 `0 d8 ?9 f
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as$ V: f6 Y7 S$ ~2 i3 r, f
warehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food2 W& O8 u1 @6 S) }8 q7 k: Z
services and others.

Candidate Profile:* k7 `& Q! \: \7 k/ W5 x
* z+ h8 `) U E! |( [Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian1 A& n/ @4 n" _* c! J# Y4 ?" w! @
citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:
, u" A0 w! Z( o0 _0 J8 }3 X* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB6 Y' q& T$ r/ ^
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-
M+ i v6 l$ l" G* Tsecondary education
