A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance. x* K% E, ]% R4 p0 `; q

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors
- g2 n: o2 |1 j; S! x• Answer multi line telephone system
" \9 @; v3 d7 F* _; w• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
, c! E) ?! p' Z! S• Arrange courier services for all departments: |5 Y2 \# F6 ^
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers# ]' m8 w$ R/ o1 m9 f- Q4 @

8 A! `! m3 J9 G% @9 E" {• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail
7 Q2 c$ G9 _ V/ Z• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries$ r$ o6 u+ T- D/ j
• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency 7 k4 j/ \! o& k/ U
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
& ]! b; C* y7 K" p• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers 9 k9 [, ^6 N5 d$ [
• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution
, v# p( R2 n* o• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments ' T& t# G& J7 u
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested: G$ D; q6 M! M5 H. p( o

• Accept and process registrations for participants or attendees at various special events and staff training8 g# K" z. B- \' e2 Y) Z1 }
• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

Qualifications:
: Y- ~: c" I+ F' A, z! i, n/ Z# ~0 d- Z/ S
• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
2 R* B& S7 J% O• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.9 X8 k. a* Q9 {6 {. {# F4 B/ F
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset7 x$ l/ _; p1 D5 \$ n ~4 v7 Q
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills 7 D, p: ]3 e9 p" z- f" E
• Mindful of need for accuracy, detail and discretion/ z2 P* |9 S+ E+ z0 u
• Able to interact in a positive manner with diverse population
