A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance. n* r6 }0 g# j* x

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors4 y0 L; u. L1 e' c
• Answer multi line telephone system
! v/ `- u( T8 g( O @" x9 ^, }• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries
; @6 `% e I# V* z; G+ l• Arrange courier services for all departments
& @/ b; ]' v( X" J+ [- I• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail! O* ]2 ^4 I" W% g. f! Q
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
3 h9 W0 v" F. s9 S/ X1 L• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency : m" m! i+ ?; \2 T! d' Y
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration

• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution: f* D0 P* t+ Q( v
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments . h6 g# s5 U) t0 {9 q
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

Qualifications:

3 k2 a7 _" h4 g. J0 z% G4 f- h• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
: }) g' c4 \0 b! h: E$ H1 x6 z• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
: R" X+ y2 Q, {" R; R0 _/ U• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset+ U% u* h* R2 T( O# K& Q, r. c
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills # G! G( m3 p- d) P0 `. F
