A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.

• Greet and provide assistance to incoming visitors' z& @% h& E- r( r% O4 ]/ `+ w
• Answer multi line telephone system
# J: S% x: d, h" c$ T$ Q• Receive and distribute mail and deliveries r }- I$ \: @5 K% x) h4 ~
• Arrange courier services for all departments( J* D, T' P# {# Q! m7 {* w5 S
• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers; i; L# i6 I% ?

• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail2 c* W' r h$ m' f2 c' Q* J- ?2 c1 U
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
0 c4 K$ h( u$ y& T: c# D; \; K' S- I• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency 4 w2 J) L0 M7 H) l F" W2 {
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration
8 G/ C+ x' e1 ]; {0 i: ?2 V• Assist with task management for administrative volunteers
/ r& E+ K" N/ {& U! @7 s3 P, Q( L• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution6 A" d$ @8 u R/ W
• Assist Business department with weekly bank deposit and processing payments 9 e, T: ~. O: f$ s* E t2 J+ F
• Assemble and forward information packets as requested

• Process payments for ticket orders and registrations

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures! u$ o- V( c% v9 t( ~: z
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint., R+ B: o* d& e; C) l1 i
• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset4 A7 D' v" @5 i( o3 `, @: f$ v
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills

• Able to interact in a positive manner with diverse population
