The YWCA is recruiting a Receptionist. The Front Desk is the central point for internal and external communications for all departments, programs and events. A sound understanding of overall activity of the agency is essential. This is a position that requires strong customer service skills, as it works collaboratively with staff and volunteers to provide the best possible information and assistance.) • Answer multi line telephone system

• Arrange courier services for all departments
% K n; r+ B2 P4 \- F! D• Oversee Y-Knit program; provide support to its volunteers

( w; |! |% c# I [- t• Receive sort and distribute mail and packages; post outgoing mail) E+ `. O+ r" E, x! m
• Sort and distribute mail and deliveries
. L+ \! L; R2 [- X• Provide clerical support (e.g. word processing, data entry, photocopying, faxing, e-mailing, printing labels, mail-outs, and filing) to all departments of the agency ; q2 {2 `" n; {. R! L1 j( v
• Update and maintain databases as assigned, including those for Fund Development and Administration

• Create monthly staff bulletin and prepare for distribution

• Assist YoWoChAs Outdoor Education Registration as required

• Minimum 2 years office experience in areas related to office reception, and office procedures
7 I5 t2 g, K- v6 ?6 `* i, m• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
$ t) p, Y. g2 n. [+ _# ~• Skill in Desktop publishing is an asset
