Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
' \& v% M$ A0 `- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
5 `" l9 v/ R7 P/ Q. d5 |4 P- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

! }+ s3 F4 m* E6 _- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
+ ]* s) V2 N( e! V+ A5 y* }- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
: z0 t" r  K. e# r- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
( \# V, _& {9 c* a8 d- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
$ ?' S- k+ |8 E3 g5 m- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
