Has the following summer position available: June 1 – August 16, 2005 (40 hours per week)

Housing Program Worker

3 I1 K! L% c  p) s5 TKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
+ J3 T* a5 k6 s To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
1 N' a7 W. ~. |* d/ w* w( q To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
) }* x# |. \5 \. y+ x3 v Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
4 K7 U7 b7 s" Q/ n  } Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
