Housing Program Worker

* K  Z# O- d8 T* l$ NKey Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
! n' I" H* R9 H0 m( j4 i2 c To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
2 g# k* L* s7 e/ {4 Q  }7 N9 l( a To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
8 q- g# A/ l. \3 d8 q+ V To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
$ k7 Q- P, i+ f5 ]9 s Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
; p4 s1 f  L2 w) r$ ^ Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
