The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.) e0 K5 p3 Y) e" D

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management
" Y5 k+ P# A1 S% {$ s/ p' C' C4 i* Z• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
7 A/ W- G4 a- w* T+ x( ]• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors
0 `* f4 N, J% p. Y6 _& E• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities& t! {8 V! w: w" c1 h) ]9 e5 I" ^
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
/ o+ U; e+ o0 {2 K2 H" Y• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

- ^/ t* p8 m, s O0 i- R CProgram Delivery6 k" f* X& Q F1 C; Q6 z7 Q* [
• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program 8 y, P6 _; Q5 Q( }3 G ^
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes0 G0 O. C$ |* V
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required" G$ q% X3 \: L: j/ N5 b" V
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication6 R9 F Z8 [7 h4 B/ R
• Review service action plans and support programs as requested" S. N2 x: g8 p" u7 J' q
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department& K! x9 Y/ Q" r8 x& F% G
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program/ d( d4 {/ m' }9 e' f: @' A6 g
• Implement service modification, as required9 u8 h1 O( R4 f/ G, J/ J7 Y A" s

• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director. {; H* X' B' ~+ y2 f
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review, x' }! B1 U& ~) g3 r& Z/ g
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field6 X$ d' Z5 D# d2 ?! O
• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities7 L" N4 P) K, }
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
. N" }2 U% ?/ A• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
