The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators. W1 S* R$ K7 J7 H/ r; j2 ~) K
( q+ ^; [6 y. `' i% H5 GThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.5 ~$ U) w: m& o: x

4 w0 h% a! E! k2 W) }( p• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
& {" T6 t2 ?* M5 W# [9 D" a) X5 ]• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors # g, ?* N# w. T2 I
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities* i4 f7 ^; y4 l0 m) ?6 A3 l' H
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services$ E& S' }8 J- \3 S7 l3 k+ f
• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities5 ~0 }7 H9 _$ V, p2 z" j" O& d- a
" z3 z& B: b: Z9 b6 s1 OProgram Delivery
. D! |$ c) n' b- g/ [' Y0 ?• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
5 o A x6 S8 m4 |! o• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes0 }, A3 V; Z( W" {) @2 _
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required' ?. L* T- C5 [6 v9 b `2 t
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
4 ~ K( _9 A( m g8 m" k7 @• Review service action plans and support programs as requested

• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

8 E9 s) u2 L7 k [4 h7 ~• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director9 d3 I+ } k8 t( z4 K
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review

2 B4 I7 A( p$ B; G. z$ ^• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
, i i' z5 e( l' H! Q2 Y4 ^• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities9 P& b( V+ }8 u
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience; Y: T4 Y0 T% `' J
• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations
