The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.* v' O( m' g6 G8 K
4 `: U1 \+ U/ r$ oThis position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

k1 k+ N( f3 I, L* H• Human Resources Management
. ^6 T( d A# M! I8 K( ^• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities ! l: N4 M( ~& ~! O
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors 2 \+ \9 ]% k) [# s
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities: q3 d8 j t" f5 }3 x) m
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
1 K3 q, ^& b# x/ W# j, M' v• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

( E3 F# n6 Q( l1 u• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program / C4 N( `' n! ^" K: \
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes" w3 A/ h B' Q: D/ U. C2 ?
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
$ e. n! f: t m8 k• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
- \! N- M1 P' C; r( ^+ w# @7 r• Review service action plans and support programs as requested
4 x3 f L5 l* l. @• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department9 G% r" p2 W4 s) D2 T& F
• Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program* I7 H* ?; S$ P- O" `
• Implement service modification, as required

• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review8 z4 P6 k# r2 W) K% d! b% }
• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required* i4 y% u W c$ W& u% k' M
( s: y* y4 _% ]7 P1 o9 P8 XQualifications:* N4 [& H/ X" p1 I: x% ]' J
# U, A3 Q% S1 r# m+ o• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
" H5 |" ~7 I$ ?• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
1 F1 Y1 P+ w( Q5 c# R' Y* q6 f2 o• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
/ b/ r! d8 `: r2 x2 H* w" M T• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations/ u1 \) o& g! U7 ?3 {2 F
• Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population& k3 K6 T" g! J; i! x
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
