Job Description: The Librarian will report to the Executive Director and work with the
6 N7 V% }# D0 I/ D: e2 D5 E, H: L) FFAVA staff by organizing and updating two libraries: the film, video and digital library; as $ N: P* ?8 B% M) b
well as the script, magazine and book library. , |( |' F0 B5 e5 \

Duties:
7 L" A! ]& R5 p1 _- Sort and catalogue the film, video and digital library
. ]& a, z7 f& s- Sort and catalogue scripts, magazine and books
* [; U' c% R% N& o- Implement a catalogue template for future use
% y1 i' E& `% h! U1 U- Update and develop loaning policy and procedure 6 {3 ]+ a2 B0 x# q" U0 X2 d
- Enforce FAVA’s standard of use policies where applicable 5 v3 x4 k8 V9 B

- Funding for this position is provided by the Summer Temporary Employment Program 7 s- B; S# T9 L1 u. A# G, Q8 G7 j

- Applicants must be unemployed and attending (or have recently completed) a post-/ w7 p6 k5 q8 L# J5 N
secondary training, university preferred ; F. p8 c4 P' B
- Wage is $15.00 per hour, 35 hours per week

4 C# ], u) h l3 E- Experience or training in library sciences preferred

- Strong team player abilities
