CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
% @2 _& `5 Q4 ^2 w) `  q; t: HActivities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and
hot
spring at Miette Hot Springs.
We will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA
; a+ }* s8 A( `, p# f$ OVolunteers.
9 D2 X  i; c. {4 }' M- q" U& C4 `1 |! xWe'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.

Day One
-        Ride to Jasper by mini-van.(7 people per minivan)
- [7 I; U" o6 D) M-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per
- G+ O& v- H8 b* @2 i3 S6 thalf
! ~& n3 s5 _* w& T3 Shour)(Each canoe can hold 3 people at most.)
-        Hot spring in Jasper for the evening.(Usually hot spring costs about
$6 per
& a! P6 w% T9 fperson. So it's not that expensive. And after knowing how many people
will go,
I can work on a group price for us. So sign up for this activity. If

not going, you could also have a little visit in Jasper town while

2 v, J/ N9 L' r! U-        Sight Viewing in Japer: We'll go Maligne Lake first thing in the
morning .
6 _5 {9 P+ O/ aAnd we'll do the Malign Boat Cruises.(I'll take us 90 minutes round
trip. It's
% ]0 H) D8 p0 x4 Y1 b$35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12years old)). If you haven't done

Day Three
: f0 L0 \/ ^9 h$ H  a-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.
-        Ride home in the early afternoon since we need to return the rented

time.

Things to Bring:

) N+ x9 V  [# Q9 x" Y9 Y  O-        Swim suit if you want to do Hot Spring.
6 G6 ~  G& `" P% P" m( Y' r5 Z$ Z-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain
  L6 F# J# i" k" [# kin the
late May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes
and
9 j' w# m1 c* v* ]shoes are definitely needed.
2 F6 S4 E, A" M1 P, Q' r7 r-       Wear comfort shoes cause we'll do lots of walking and of course
drving.(But you won't need to worry about the driving).
* G8 e, c* b$ z! `% g/ x-       We won't take care of the food for you, but we'll stop at
places where
& S( y- {. y, c4 D1 g9 H' @there are food at lunch or dinner hour, so you could have something to
  N+ W; h/ t" R7 f! K  ?2 leat.

IGA in
  e' c$ s' E4 k6 ]Jasper, so you could always buy food there if you need.)

Cost: $160, this price includes your share of car rentals, gas,

Hot Spring ticket was about $6 in total according to last year's price.
/ i0 Q" X( O. }% T0 `9 V8 l( ACanoeing is $35 per canoe per hour, $25 per half an hour.
Maligne Boat Cruises are $35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12 years
old).
When we come back from the trip, according to the expenses we'll return
; g! g( J" V- P# ~! D3 Z7 ]the
extra money to you. According to the Trip we organized to Banff in last
- O) u( i# M9 H/ K2 ~winter, everyone will have returned money finally. And when we come
