The remains of a man reported missing in early March were found in a wooded area near a golf course in the city's northwest yesterday afternoon.6 Q% V* [! i6 Q( X
8 N w7 p/ x6 g- sPolice said the remains, discovered near 137 Avenue and 170 Street, have been identified as 54-year-old Robert Stauffer. His death is not considered suspicious.9 `+ u) V: b5 J1 j

Stauffer had not been seen or heard from since Jan. 24 after he attended a medical appointment. As this was not the first time he lost contact with his family, they did not report him missing until March 6.2 x3 F/ M# Q$ }& j
