Housing Program Worker

, Q" Q! i6 ?/ D8 _4 r6 O9 t. n/ vKey Responsibilities:
/ x* j: p: e& P& g To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
' y/ Q9 g# @. o  Z; E3 @6 a To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
; U+ Q; `1 }8 L; w/ }, K# l To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
& L" t. S# k& j8 @ To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
% [. j5 l! Z& o To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
9 ]2 @: K: O+ v4 g5 L Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
9 l1 B% B2 i& ?( \1 k/ H, s5 P Current CPR and First Aid certifications
, S+ F" b; ?: T; F3 [ Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
