Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
4 @% y, m) C8 f" F- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
5 c8 I2 M- I  r" b- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
/ f6 U% e$ v$ L; M$ X
- w$ {3 g/ F  ?0 a4 O9 e- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
' q  i& }4 Q, t* l' H& U) d, v- communication skills
8 `  y8 W* w, H* s9 s0 O: a- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
% U0 G& j2 A; T& }- good computer skills
# Q: E' D% M9 T5 s) b0 j- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
