Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
+ b7 n& o' l9 x8 `. O- _0 N- Find sponsors to enhance program
" a  P0 Z! L/ K3 |( W+ \3 _- Supervise volunteer(s)
: _  t8 d' M. R2 @- Prepare final report for funding agency

( @$ c" t( P4 _; W4 t6 Y! FQualifications:

* E, w- S6 e! g( Z6 n- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- Y& z/ P8 d6 W) F5 ]- communication skills
9 V# M* R0 k" H* C- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
( K; y1 T' F) i3 [' L/ B- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
$ G' Y4 n% D, @5 \2 z4 D4 ?- leadership abilities
% x, e8 G( m- T- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
