Job Description

Responsibilities:
' l" T# |4 z* {" S- L8 |4 ]! x- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
& z$ ]8 S9 l  n! o- U- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
7 X. {- a5 S7 ]) k" q) m) Z- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
. v3 r) Z" {7 V
7 o: Q" G- {) T0 k& d0 B. q- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
* m5 r3 X5 h: g* }- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
% Q# s- g- \( q& Y; n* j8 h: K- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
$ R9 g5 q0 t! [' e! e& G) z/ u7 J- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
6 W2 X7 s% w- J# g, \- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
