Job Description

Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
& P2 _, K0 X: w  M- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
, I+ w- N: I5 `* A+ ?- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency
+ A2 j+ i# L% g5 g3 p, J' O
Qualifications:

. i& e5 z: n% b" @' {! a; Y- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
  t# [& v" B5 t6 u; Y- communication skills
6 X* g- W+ K+ J5 n( L2 i- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
$ Y2 D2 P9 B8 q  b/ u# X: l0 g- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
