-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and
5 t& D5 k. I) Z, e        implementation of the Summer Camps
-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
& K. f7 j' B$ m-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
: K# W& a, z$ E% ^-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

9 A7 f  E; @2 {6 j6 K, m+ _; o$ a+ j-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
9 g* y' `( q$ ]) |% p0 I-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
& |9 a* y* v$ {1 L1 B2 Q! K: d- x-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
5 O# [  e2 N) }$ ^2 f' q. W6 a% B0 y-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

9 f/ W8 q+ ~) K% G/ t5 ^-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
-        $14.00 per hour
