- Support the Summer Children’s Program Coordinator in the 2 V4 _7 u0 W, G
preparation and implementation of the Summer Camps: U' l$ V$ e! r ^5 E( N g, K
- Assist with facilitating the summer children’s program
' u4 }: ?' I7 N" o- Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies2 w6 B" t2 P" M) C8 f& e
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Program
& b5 q u( B8 m& {6 B4 b Coordinator2 m- H V+ T' ]+ v+ y2 q
- Assist with any other program related tasks as assigned by the Senior Program Manager4 z) B* z$ l& V5 ]
/ h/ s/ J$ m, G" O: x; Q$ YQualifications:
- G2 V9 ?0 W% b) p- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood + E$ q. @* ` j% P6 S8 x
Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education V' W0 @9 {" X$ g' [$ n6 h
- Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children" i8 a1 |; a6 }
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
& {, w; y, C$ F; `1 z5 P6 Z- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities9 w2 \8 E1 q; d3 y* }" N+ a
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese3 f7 W, I6 Q$ `; m" f0 C
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities5 ?& k- `/ e* }1 Y! h
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision! c. X7 ~' |6 ^% r6 z* S/ A
- Returning student (should return to school after summer)% o- x1 \9 i3 r
- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense: V. I5 N; s; ~1 J8 z. l* n/ l

Other Information:
$ k4 {9 {! M5 ~/ f- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning) / j; @7 d5 o+ ~4 `$ w) M
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
: U/ A8 Z% u* ?9 G6 G- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
