- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program $ R/ r% d. Z: e' e0 ^, l% ^4 H

- Recruit children for summer programs
4 q3 [# ^! Q+ S2 I @1 ^6 M% `- Recruit volunteers for summer programs

- Provide orientation for parents) k3 g6 W! V& P( C# Z* j# K4 F
- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency4 i4 ?* M+ p. A* t- L# C
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager9 P. G& V5 M7 g3 x2 P( P

Qualifications:
$ }, _# \6 X0 r/ S2 k- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
: U7 I3 y1 |; _# t8 S1 ?" z- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
9 r' S% ~ p8 D- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills3 x0 }8 L: ^# F
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
+ C d3 G3 h f1 X. @- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
G9 n1 O/ ` f. W+ z' \5 A: j# ^- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities- L: _, x- J c2 |5 j l8 {
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision% |; y2 M. D1 n! |5 {. L

- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:

and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps) @- j3 I2 `( m; Z. A$ \' ]" Y
- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009$ }7 N' f0 i4 e$ q& ]) g
