Responsibilities:
4 L0 f$ v) S2 g8 V( U, K1 m. x- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
' G; v$ k% ?" l( L (ages 6 to 15) ) r* I) W/ B+ ?/ i; G
- Recruit children for summer programs
% g" \3 U( V% ^: V; x1 f" S- Recruit volunteers for summer programs
4 K. I: M7 L D8 f- Record keeping3 m& n7 r4 r5 U! l5 H/ B* Q* |* j
- Provide orientation for parents7 g$ b7 Z5 L1 }. t7 x
- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency ^% y# z$ \& N* a b
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager9 t$ Y; L' @+ o" h9 P
- f* w: Y! _+ N" S+ U, M1 W7 OQualifications:& S) r+ c; l* s3 L
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
$ V& j9 g/ W2 |) U1 v- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
" j, P- X$ K7 B& Q0 _8 r- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
; V' G8 C9 Q$ U- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
8 C- L" i% G* Y$ l- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)
