; @  j& U/ z, o( b* S    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

Qualifications

    * Technical Diploma required; a BSc is preferred
9 H) S) L: R& Q3 z1 w    * Minimum of one year of related experience in some aspect of analytical mass spectrometry is required

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

# g5 F9 U: E; P/ E本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。


' R. \  M5 Z: {8 ~& |好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

. G5 |5 y1 M3 q2 w, Z; P, g6 ?  ati-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
