4 r2 y- u& z( `5 Z. B6 a) V    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
7 P, N5 Z+ ]& c  e' j    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
. H& j$ Z# R: P0 ?, w    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students

J$ t    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

2 p9 s9 p; o$ I) R/ v/ _本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

" m, @" B% E. [+ d2 k- j4 Z5 J- v好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

    i think you misunderstood the meaning of GC-MS. It is not GM, it's about chemstry analysis.oh, my god!

Samples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
, Y- N! ?2 ~% r$ N7 M0 y% M% ^wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

) U. ]- B# s1 b) p+ n  y: wti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
