Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
; ^5 `# s( r" C- R8 X- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
4 V; p! M0 ?) T# T. P- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

* L) K% e* M  sQualifications:

8 L+ ?4 |  h# z2 Z1 @- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
, i( X5 Z% \% e2 S% `- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
9 i; q& C8 D8 k2 g. k  y- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
& S7 Q* |) B3 F7 R( d- good computer skills
% F: |0 c7 I" O- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
