* v* X4 w: f( _$ GResponsibilities:
2 D& _' T: K7 j' ?- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
' k: r( }: j& ^; M- Find sponsors to enhance program
) X. p: I- H% t$ e2 z9 E9 F+ g- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
/ B  T. \0 B  {2 c
) ?! z6 K9 s1 ~$ f) u- K- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
2 E- B6 B' b2 r4 Z3 z7 [- communication skills
! `. A: l; m- }7 w- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
5 L4 \2 R6 Y  @- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
; |; I: N4 j4 Q/ t- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
' c0 F9 r0 w+ Z9 n& H& n( e3 Y- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
