How to avoid too much chips left in panel box after your drill a hole ?+ x& m- q' g- F
5 Y- u2 Q9 c$ s) Z& d6 T" u1. If you are going to drill a hole on top of a box, use some paper to cover the bottom of the box so that you can easily remove the paper with chips in it; " o! {) S2 B# E: l9 E4 X' }, A- r
2. Make sure you cover all equipments (breakers, contacts, relays, fuses, Etc)in the box before you drill holes;
0 @, c3 z/ a5 d+ @( h$ U4 @9 Y3. Use a paint brush to collect all debris (one of the best tools that is always in my tool box), and clean it up before your get all connectors in;( ~, e, l" i" P2 G+ W: B3 E. E
4. Use your level's magnetic side to collect all steel chips;5 f' [% c( G! n# U- S
5. Use duct tape to get rid of all small chips;5 G9 d3 l2 ^- A0 `/ e6 t( Q0 e
6. Use a vacuum if you just have it beside you(a bit too luxury, but why not!).7 L" O6 j, B5 Q9 u; _. t0 s
7 k1 C5 Q, k) OAnd another vital important point: DO NOT try to below those chips out! Most likely you will just below your mess everywhere, including your precious eyes.
