A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• Standard Child Care First Aid

• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care
8 u0 C+ W5 `! D% G( m" y• Components to improve communication skills
. `* ~/ M8 u, p& k7 D: [* W$ S9 I• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search9 ?) V3 k* _" r6 m
• Practicum Placements

, U$ R& S% L' G. A• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen

• have a Social Insurance Number. B0 v( b% q( z+ W' H: A
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check9 [* z/ O/ p0 E; n0 Q
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent8 [. D) v" Q. j+ V
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time! {2 {7 O6 `7 o! U* r
program

& D/ G& N3 N3 f. P. V8 hthe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course
