0 M2 k" W: z- E# jAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. 1 E. j% [0 g9 o
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:7 }) L6 J, f$ f4 v
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. : E0 \, Z; j) v- |
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
- x" I. N M# w+ {! g$ h @Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
1 G/ m( S4 S( ]" rAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. 9 ~+ o+ ]$ y, f$ o
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
. j- l: I+ Y5 A: t5 x; y4 f' `Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
?! t: S1 {+ b: LAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
1 u1 {) s" d+ k( D3 rSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
: B1 o9 _/ S( o6 V kResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. . D: g9 _9 w) {5 s! i
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
! G/ _9 a( B3 F' [3 J• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.' w. f- h/ N/ H F
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
6 W9 [2 }9 F# M0 V4 B, J5 z• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
l4 L: V v# h( ]* p• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
