Business Analyst (.Net Application Development)

As a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
J; Z5 o1 d6 G, }6 p5 X6 GAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:. c( Z& X+ H! Z+ g7 Q2 b2 X
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. : }: j, v6 t* x, V! I% z2 Y' j
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information. 4 ]' T3 L+ r! n1 t$ y
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
! A: ^2 S" _ l4 e& G8 wAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. 7 w" n" |3 I/ m* ? {( {2 J
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
' L$ P& Q T3 sAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. 9 Q. m, y7 J0 ]* f
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. 9 W9 s; w6 T! R# w# }
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
6 `8 _% d4 Y, ^! Y6 cResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables.
6 W- o C p7 e* Z Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
8 i/ \" d5 t& f. `5 S$ A• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
" n7 x% K8 ]/ l• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.' P" ]5 M* ?; Y; G; p+ M
• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.

Demonstrated planning and organizational skills.
