Diesel Car Can't star up again!

Diesel car is really hard to start in cold winter.

I have a 06 disel TDI, cound not start again this morning becuase there is no plug in on parking lot.

' L: o3 U: C. w5 I1 ^Last time when temp dropped to -30, it was dead also.


/ Y4 a" D) c% [& |" o/ @, {, d  `. hI just wondering do many Chinese drive a TDI in Edmonton? I personally don't like a car need a lots of attention.

because you still have summer diesel in your tank,  summer diesel will gel up at  -12.

% B4 E, Z0 N9 d# W% ?3 L" Ryou should leave this car in shop overnight, let it warm up,  add in some diesel anti-gel addtives and fill up with winter diesel

This car was from Vancouver, maybe it is becuase of the fuel.

! R4 `8 q' ?+ W' MWith Plug-in, easy one strike start, but without warming up, needs 5-7 times try.

- ^: L% V6 m8 }( OI do follow the manual saying to the position 3, wait until the icon gone, still needs 3-6 times try in cold weather.

This TDI shows more concerns than the hard to start in winter.

when temp drops below -20, the shocks all around squeeze!

* w4 W& @/ {7 L6 I) e0 qIt is anoying and the VW says they can do nothing on this.

, i$ r3 M9 c- v* YI am very disspointed with VW, last time I had a jetta city 2007 only 10,000km, the engine shakes like hell, and sent the car the VW, they say:"it is normal!" I don't think so then becuase a gas engine car should not behave like that, stering wheel is jumping (no exagerating)

Suzuki Aerio 2005-2006 have the same problem due to the wrong spec of the shock absorber, maybe TDI is designed for warm weather driving only.

冷油，比汽油车热的都要慢不少。
& B' o7 ]$ a5 A点车的时候，当然不容易啦。最好还是插电。
或者underground。

我开道奇的柴油车，冬天打火是费尽，除了柴油本身的原因，
我觉得车上的报警系统很费电，连续3天不开，估计就打不着了。

除了插电，还要把车头摆好，准备早上 借个火。
