; G! E& P9 i- l0 {6 oRecently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few 5 ?" [4 P u6 u$ E6 [) M5 E
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. ) C* z& V7 K; q8 M# w0 i
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at 0 x# t6 p& s6 a. {( X9 d
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. # `1 u0 f6 R$ a: f. w

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and
; L, n( }" m5 U8 din the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants

cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat 9 O9 c" W; Q. R( e# R
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is % l) R5 h: j5 `6 F" o' o
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat. 3 N$ Q9 m( D' ?$ F

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
^! P" h6 a3 X4 tavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
7 F8 t& ]1 z( i m( F. X: d f" Moil.

1 g- z+ l9 s" O* G3 w# i! J9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 , V- R& }1 C* a! X
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

6 G2 ~; v. ~- c- b# r$ q10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy " x# N2 C3 d z( G
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability % d9 k7 j: I: e1 l( p/ X, o3 D- e- c
