Position: Education Services Supervisor / Terms & Conditions: competitive & based on education-experience / Closing Date: October 24, 2008.

# T8 d3 j6 x: p, w/ m8 CContext: The Support Network, Edmonton's Crisis & 211 Centre, is looking for an innovative leader to join our team as the Supervisor of our Education Services Program. Hours are 28-35 hrs per week (negotiable), and may require some evenings/weekends - to start early to mid November. This position offers flex-time, a supportive and family friendly work environment + full benefits.

8 A( ?3 ^3 r) ^' P( [Responsibilities: coordinate program plans involving social entrepreneurship & target marketing; supervise Education Services staff; participate as a member of The Support Network's Leadership Team; assist in the development of program related budgets, reports, proposals; coordinate bookings/workshop development; expand & develop external relationships to benefit program; deliver workshops.

N+ K+ O5 J4 V6 bYou Have: post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent combination of education/training/experience; minimum 2 years supervisory experience; experience in Human Services and with business planning, marketing/program development; knowledge of suicide, family violence & crisis intervention.

2 Q9 `$ r! t; A/ a% i% G2 ~  o% gPlus: knowledge/experience with Adult Education; excellent written/oral communication & computer skills (including power point); the willingness to work with grace under pressure to meet deadlines; the ability to problem solve & the ability to work in a team environment.
