The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

5 }! f: K4 D1 e2 O) [ We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
8 s! T: i, S; f8 k- g•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
; n+ [! x& a; i: h  S2 I•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
6 h5 {* e0 _" v. D•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
% b8 z2 K3 ]$ f. u% W•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
) s3 O; T! G2 b. K, t2 I•        Able to travel extensively ;
2 ?0 }$ Q5 Y/ B: ~- y•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
# ~0 K0 v/ r8 ]  G# N•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
