The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

' b8 x. F- Z$ Z$ K: g; vDuties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
/ `  m/ g- S% E/ c•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
( `' v, m# {2 ?•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
' ]; {9 c( \' W) M  F$ G: S•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
0 D7 X( Q; e, l•        Able to travel extensively ;
7 T$ Z( r: X" J: \6 I•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
& h) Y) v2 @9 S1 R, _* ~- G•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
4 ~- w  ?/ ]# r( o2 R•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
