The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
, s$ O+ V/ g* r% F# F•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
) W- f1 Z9 V6 l8 x2 D3 j•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
( s! I8 b, p3 a$ u•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
/ I6 K" ]4 I1 k•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
/ X# H+ g& F5 ?' P: p" Y" J•        Degree in the area of human services;
2 U6 I" e: {% `( K! U; U•        Able to travel extensively ;
( ?- C  R$ l) G: a•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
% u9 ]4 w4 _8 L4 ^! M' g•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
