Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
6 i9 K* o- p! H•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
( e/ E3 d: ?4 F9 s3 x3 {+ {+ F4 \•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
; E! I* Z! T& g9 }8 x•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
# |0 [/ T1 W( I, W4 o( T•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
* ?" a+ E" l! X* T  Z•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
& }4 l8 n5 \: S5 N& B! M•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
  _" c' S8 R4 y4 N: U; _•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
; B  z% J1 s: C9 h. M•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
. |! J# b/ l# a$ z4 \" U/ s, U•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
4 Q  K7 F$ @' ]: X; ?% i•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
" m) ~4 `* r1 ~  j5 P1 ?# r9 t•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
