Position: Youth Services Manager
9 O( e: ?/ _  h$ bFull time position (35 hours each week)

- L6 j+ A! p$ r: e+ J+ B) rJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
  M- f# t/ I5 p+ z  }) d•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
* {. K2 y9 J) y3 V* h•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues

•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
9 K; I# j$ @, F% E! ^•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends

Qualifications
* T$ H* ?( u1 T! |# u* v•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
' }  L& r- c0 X5 o' E; k•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
