Position: Youth Services Manager
- v5 O" S& c& d; e/ P0 Z3 FFull time position (35 hours each week)

1 b% O+ O, p. \8 e1 O0 @5 f% QJob Description – Responsibilities
5 {9 E) ]! g7 @: E•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
2 u1 V8 A+ C' {) Z1 P5 w, R/ k•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
) A; F, |; t# C- D* h  y" X  X( E. I8 z1 C•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
7 N/ G- J- t6 k- m, d! U! w" a9 d. b- I•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
9 S2 ^, [: V( C6 ~9 u•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
5 b, P' }' k* a5 f& c) ^•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
' H- |6 m1 W: L$ V7 k) {4 D7 \0 [•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
/ i% a; K4 M0 [% [) r0 {9 X' N0 x•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

. I0 Y0 K- D+ S& }6 m8 [Qualifications
( \2 e/ [0 H4 a5 H/ R•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
  Z/ D6 p5 f( m; X4 y+ p% P•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
7 r' y7 O- w  Q3 S•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
