Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

1 k5 K0 l- V# M7 a/ \Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
3 M/ m8 Y. m* [5 a" i) `7 m$ l8 @•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
2 P+ S1 @3 }( R) W$ H) N! e; }) O) L•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
9 h( T3 L1 H9 k4 c+ U•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
2 p& t8 y" G5 B7 ~3 i; s, b•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
" Y0 Z+ U& Z( \•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
: S- d3 ^. P6 L' m0 F•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

; q! N: }; q" Y% iQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
/ N# C( L& i6 K. F* \•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
* R% j& {. V/ x& F1 E; e" I. u•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
: u( x  Y. H. ?& }: i) O/ m•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
