Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
. V; u2 _) c2 Z) v; }) N% c•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
  L4 K* V+ o. k: ^•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
; t+ ?/ `6 P9 Y$ _7 [2 ~7 |•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
+ I! Z9 Y4 ?0 k9 ]1 O•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
8 a7 ?. x1 L  a! w# H•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
' ]+ j2 M& i. }9 l) _& a•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
! E+ B8 p5 ]: G- c1 @, X. ^•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
& z6 y3 R" u% s: l9 w•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
) r; A  Z) W8 @4 d•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
