Major Responsibilities:
2 L  B: P; z" f4 s  A& _•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.5 [. {3 z& z: R# W$ L
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.8 d+ C: c* h* h+ b' K$ g' z
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  / `4 \% V. i8 f8 p4 t
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
& E& ]" ?' F4 x4 z•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
  \4 J& L( U$ n1 A% r  {•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
: ?# \- d( C' F7 {( L+ x•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
' v3 s8 I# w# u& F! a8 s5 j•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
$ x+ g# O  F# D8 I% W  v2 q+ w•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
% Z* X- @! V7 C: d•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.2 }1 V1 X% t0 e% Q3 E; d# H2 z9 g
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
% J" O" s9 D% j$ g  F•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 {8 Q5 m( O) b& l1 b; H
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. " O0 W5 C  h3 H4 x
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. , x6 X- {! g9 N+ Y' o! r
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 3 A% m+ B( b* Y8 z4 F4 w. a
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
