Major Responsibilities: 4 j0 ^0 o, [! u' `* T
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.6 g/ u: U" w6 Z( i6 K4 p
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.+ p# ^1 R' O- x& I/ [, A' z
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ) L% O" x; N, L8 u1 c+ ~) S* B
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
! W) P% x4 S7 N2 l• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.$ D4 @' ?4 Z! T" ^% u8 Z0 V
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
; w9 w# x4 `$ r, b• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
) C9 C' p3 j) ]5 `1 Y3 X• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.6 g- i' n, g# }4 G4 S I. b. V
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
$ p3 @3 {7 Q: h/ N# y• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.; U _6 H% u: y8 A9 A! Y+ ?$ ]
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.9 x) O: R8 b8 O5 n/ Y

Qualifications:
1 {+ a* d+ K2 i4 w4 S- n9 q% J* G• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
. z9 d( N, W) N' i0 t: J9 w• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
u* c( h! V/ `" ?• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. + g2 f- \$ }! ^1 N
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. * u7 N" c" ~* }$ P# m* d
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other0 Q, F3 [0 q$ A+ \ g' }, S
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
