& c" Q' {9 I# A' k% b; U8 _1 A4 uMajor Responsibilities:
. b, @& J5 B: n, ?• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
1 Q2 }! [" z$ {" C x Y. m• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 q6 s. N4 L: s+ ~4 l' J& d• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
+ G+ h: d2 a' a5 c# K• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.* a: H7 w2 r K& v6 j# h
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.0 N( K M* V' ^! K8 d2 q
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.' Y$ M3 T' S' h9 K- f: B
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.6 U; O! W4 n% V+ O4 Z. K- ]
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., U; ^* G0 E5 F# G% s
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
# l- b ~+ q9 y: s. [/ S# _/ H• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.. H {9 [; K7 w3 ?9 F: E
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.9 U; G2 g& }0 P+ p. Y2 O
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.# U4 b3 m! D0 t4 J0 b
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.. M8 U1 I8 ~. Y( J
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
7 [" {, a$ x+ R+ ]# }9 T3 h* Z5 K• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
. Z% {* R* d3 c6 \ c6 ^( v• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
& v1 G# w/ \) K4 R" s: S" ]6 i• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ( t# c. F3 ^9 J4 G: h2 p
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ' l: A* }- P7 b- `
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

* n2 A4 l3 a% f7 R6 H• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other5 ~( W& I3 }% S3 v. T2 l" A4 U
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 0 M" r: N' n( G: J4 R3 x" H) H* Y6 z
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
