Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager, k4 T+ t2 B0 X; H1 H) r

Major Responsibilities: 9 H7 X- k1 i, T7 ?+ e
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 i. s, \. }+ V0 G. h6 z
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.2 J$ R0 ^3 e+ F0 ?: d7 f
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. # @* m' _/ Y+ k' f7 k: C- o
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
6 b7 u5 E' I6 D* }1 ^• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.1 I# i9 j, W a6 F2 v) v
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area./ i( @- @4 X8 f
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
0 _, Q) V& O8 l9 `% D9 ]• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
7 j# f7 k; Q; W0 D7 y3 d) U• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.0 T/ k% C" T+ ?- l* {
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
. F+ ]0 r5 R9 r• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.) B: S2 ?! f! \; @, ~! C
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
( k, `) M" D3 Y d9 r0 A• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:: d# F% B+ E7 t" F1 H5 F$ `! M# p
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
& c6 D. o, {# C• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 2 g8 I' C! a& F# Q
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
" b: Z! ]9 q( b5 Y• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
* I6 e. z( K* }* W# f• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential* s( w. n$ C# C- Y6 _4 v! ?
• Not scared of heights8 A+ A6 D8 O% L
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
5 B( N: x$ t* @+ s. ]1 h0 @• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ' d; p3 h7 k7 g$ W7 v
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
