; A+ h2 s( J. C    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities
" Y+ x' ?" \+ t$ n3 q5 U$ w- L6 G    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director
; V$ J8 P* C0 n) o' z6 }    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning
0 d, u* L! C/ G    * Develops high quality promotional and educational materials
- O- i* ^$ b% y% M; v) Z! l    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media
    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results
5 \$ V2 k2 n- S+ W7 M    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies

Qualifications
9 }# P3 m/ P: A8 G" N0 A
, `: V% J0 T! A0 A    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred
, |, r; X! m# O/ t/ z    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
7 `2 J! B2 i" ~5 V! w4 s    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
