Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.; n' G$ ]! e: P' `- S" S6 x
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.' v, I6 r8 X" {$ P
Officers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.
9 o4 ^( B* c6 W! NThe male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
