Driver killed in early morning Edmonton crash

EDMONTON - One man is dead and another is in hospital after a pickup truck rolled in northeast Edmonton this morning.* l- A2 z& _' F3 H/ p+ F
Police said they attempted to stop a truck after it stunted, spinning its tires in front of a cruiser, at 139th Avenue and Victoria Trail shortly before 2 a.m.
+ W# \# Q$ z7 F, sOfficers lost sight of the truck, but caught up to it about a minute later. It had hit a curb and rolled at 139th Avenue and 23rd Street. The driver was ejected and was killed.4 J& I. k5 h) C( ?6 {' T
The male passenger suffered serious but not life-threatening injuries. Speed and alcohol are being blamed for the crash.
