I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof.5 n* e4 v6 c9 }

For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:: w# q9 z7 y1 ]0 t! T" j

If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration. 5 e3 o5 |1 `8 G/ o $ b/ V0 _. F# wI am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
