Required: Excellent knowledge of intercultural communication, the immigrant experience, and racism in Canada; experience facilitating workshops in these areas / public-speaking; excellent writing & organizational skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; degree or diploma in human services field. & S. _ y2 P9 W3 F# }# N4 t9 aResponsibilities: Coordination of Karibuni project, under the direction of the executive director. This project is centered around the existing film entitled Karibuni, a documentary of the Franco-African immigrant experience in western Canada. An English sub-titled version of the film will be ready by Sept. 1.

$ H: x2 e$ T9 e! O' h% h9 M VKey Tasks: The coordinator will work with our professional development expert and a French-speaking consultant, to develop and deliver educational sessions in English based on the film, to appropriate groups across the country.

This will involve finding appropriate groups for presentations & making travel arrangements. During the project a user-manual for the video will be created, designed, and printed. Position will involve extensive travel across Canada.
