Responsible for activities related to design, space planning, layout, and! ^7 } K* R3 D8 T

Coordinates and implements detailed space plans to address customer space

that do not have multiple designers and a design supervisor.

& u/ O2 S% \; c' w* w6 e1 z' nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (in order of importance. Other duties may

6 V L, [% k4 H! i+ I: j! _1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of

measure layout.
B3 b L& Y% E% }/ u7 D2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,9 w! b9 K0 C2 P4 @% [+ _" R
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built1 u* c7 |. W$ e# A7 h
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
3 @, ` G( }/ _# n+ Z, ?specification and installation.
4 W- h; t- Z8 m3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning' m) y9 i( A7 L( R7 y- q( i
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these* w- o7 ^/ j# `& u* U; b4 |
needs.
- P6 H9 q4 T% W1 j( |& D& X4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering. v% H! X# L6 k" Z/ v/ l1 _
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems." W. p6 X, q2 `2 N, x
5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction9 p8 r: ~* t8 K6 D2 N1 u. c
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job& I& l! P5 k& ^! s. \6 R
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence+ Q) C4 O8 [1 N( _: w7 _
checks.
^1 k, L( C* R6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect$ L/ R! e: g! S
& Design (A&D) drawing sets.
2 `9 |! \7 R' [9 I7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,6 ?$ D- J( s4 M6 }
assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes& }. X5 k' Z- \2 J y* L% Q
and revisions.' X' O# T7 N6 u: d, u/ ^7 }
8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job
, C% d8 \* M* a& |; e& S Cinspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.
) w) O* ]1 g9 a. H: {2 O9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.$ _* r6 s0 R1 M b3 U2 E3 p( O
10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a! s) V( v& z" A
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and" }- w3 b' M5 P$ T& t
experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general$ q" d+ M' r" |, q7 }
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
